KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
You are the face of Hermiston Athletic Club
Collaborate with Management to establish stewardship goals and meet objectives.
Aid in building out Programs
SELL memberships and help your staff sell memberships.
SELL non dues items – personal training, group personal training, protein shakes, programs, retail and all other items non related to membership.
Actively pursue ideas by utilizing staff and members about other programs or profit center ideas.
Implement club programs and promotions at your club as directed.
Be actively involved in the community promoting Hermiston Athletic Club.
Upkeep and cleaning of the facility as needed.
Be a positive force for the Hermiston Athletic Club image, and the positive face for your club especially. We welcome and encourage your active participation in HAC events and promotions.
Assist in Social Media content for Club along with posting as needed.
Responsible for tracking bonuses and commissions
Responsible for creating event concepts, selecting venues, budgeting, securing sponsorships, handling logistics, handling event marketing, negotiating with subcontractors, preparing expenditure reports, and evaluating event effectiveness.
Oversee gym rentals
Program out member events alongside Manager
Schedule open gym and gym usage
Build relationships with community members
Work on pricing and budget for events along with HAC Manager
Assist in Monthly Newsletter
Aid in hiring for different clinics/camps/programs
Very strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with staff and customers.
Demonstrated proactive approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability
Highly resourceful team-player, with the ability to also be extremely effective independently
Forward looking thinker, who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions
Ability to learn detailed information about products and services quickly
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Windows
Ability to quickly learn a new software program
Customer service experience required
Ability to multi-task and remain organized a must
Should be friendly, fearless, outgoing and personable
Management and sales experience preferred
Able to speak Spanish is a plus.
